Finished with an app, but still want to keep your tokens? Clear the approval you no longer need. Our Revoke tool lets you remove supported account-level permissions without moving or burning your assets.
How do I revoke token permissions on Solana?
Connect your wallet to Sol Incinerator's Revoke tool. Approvals it can revoke start selected, so deselect any you still use, such as an active listing or strategy, then sign. Your tokens stay where they are. We charge no platform fee; you pay the Solana network fee.
Review the approval before removing it
The tool checks SPL Token and Token-2022 accounts. For each listed approval, check the asset's mint and the approved amount.
Revocable approvals are selected by default. Deselect anything you still use, such as an active listing or an automated strategy, before continuing. Removing its delegate can stop the app from completing that action.
Approve the selected revocations in your wallet and wait for confirmation. Larger selections can use several transactions. If only some finish, check the results and scan again for the approvals that remain.
What did I approve?
A token-account delegate is an address allowed to transfer or burn up to an approved amount from that particular account. It can act within that allowance without asking you to sign again.
For example, an automated swap strategy may need permission to spend its input token. When you stop using the strategy, clearing the allowance removes that delegate's access to the account.
A token account has one account-level delegate at a time. Revoking it clears that delegate and its remaining allowance.
Why isn't a frozen account listed?
The tool leaves frozen accounts out of the revocable list because Solana rejects delegate revocation while an account is frozen. Programmable NFTs and some staked assets use frozen accounts as part of their normal operation. Burning doesn't bypass the freeze either.
To end a listing or stake, use the app's delist or unstake process. Only the freeze authority can thaw a frozen account. If it is thawed, scan again for any remaining approval.
An empty approvals list isn't a complete security check
This tool removes account-level delegates. A Token-2022 permanent delegate is set on the mint and cannot be removed by an account-level revoke. Mint and freeze authorities are separate too. Our authority guide explains those differences.
If you've shared your recovery phrase or suspect the wallet itself is compromised, revoking alone won't secure it. Follow the compromised-wallet guide to protect the assets you still have.
What if I don't want the token anymore?
You don't need to destroy a token to remove its approval. Revoke if you want to keep it; swap it if you want to sell it and a worthwhile route is available.
If you deliberately choose to burn an unwanted asset, that is permanent. Closing an eligible empty account afterward removes the account and its delegate, and can return its remaining SOL deposit. Our burning-versus-closing guide explains those options.
