Keep more of the SOL you recover: Sol Incinerator's 2% base recovery fee is lower than the flat 5% that SolCleaner (sol-cleaner.com) advertises. Here's what that difference means on the same accounts, and how the two burn flows work.

How do Sol Incinerator and SolCleaner fees compare?

Sol Incinerator's base recovery fee is 2%. SolCleaner's FAQ and burn page advertise a flat 5%, checked October 7, 2026. For 100 example accounts holding 0.00203928 SOL each, you keep about 0.0061 SOL more with Sol Incinerator after service fees, before network costs.

What 100 empty accounts return with each fee

How much an empty account holds depends on when it was opened. Accounts opened under Solana's original rent setting hold 0.00203928 SOL; a new standard token account holds 0.00148844 SOL (the live reserve on October 7, 2026). Here are 100 of each:

0.00148844 SOL each0.148844 SOL0.1447658 SOL0.1414018 SOL0.0033640 SOL

That's about 0.0061 SOL more on the older accounts and 0.0034 SOL more on new ones.

Our column uses the deployed fee calculation for standard SPL accounts, including the account minimum that applies at the lower balance, and assume no added partner fee. Minimums can apply to other account types and balances, and network or Gasless Pay costs are separate. The SolCleaner column is arithmetic at the 5% its FAQ advertises, not a SolCleaner quote. Its FAQ says that rate replaced an older 20% model, its app can apply a lower rate to some wallets, and it pairs the fee with reward crates whose SOL payouts vary. Crates aren't part of this calculation, and advertised rates can change.

How do the burn flows differ?

In Pro Mode, you pick the tokens, NFTs or .sol domains you want gone, and each burn happens in the transaction you approve, with the account deposits coming back to your wallet minus fees. Assets above a value threshold are hidden by default, and large burns ask for an extra confirmation. LP tokens have their own tab in Dev mode.

SolCleaner's burn page starts in Smart Safe Burn: tokens with enough liquidity are swapped for SOL, and the rest go to its custody wallet for up to 7 days before they're permanently burned. A separate Permanent Burn mode, which it marks for advanced users, burns right away.

Still holding something with a working market? Swap it first and keep that value. Burning is permanent, so only burn what you're sure you don't want. Whichever tool you use, check what your wallet preview says a transaction will do before you approve it.

Don't want to burn anything?

You don't have to. Fun Mode finds the empty accounts and supported excess deposits in your wallet, you choose which to clean up, and your tokens and NFTs stay exactly where they are.

If your wallet is too low on SOL to pay the network fee, Gasless Pay steps in automatically for cleanups that qualify. We front the fee, then take the quoted charge and the cleanup fee out of the SOL that comes back.

Frequently Asked Questions

What fee does SolCleaner charge?

SolCleaner's FAQ and burn page advertise a flat 5% fee, checked October 7, 2026; its FAQ says that replaced an older 20% model. Sol Incinerator's base recovery fee is 2%, so at that advertised rate you keep more from the same standard accounts. Our account minimums and network costs can change a final quote.

How much more SOL do I keep with Sol Incinerator than with SolCleaner?

For 100 standard accounts holding 0.00203928 SOL each, you keep 0.1998495 SOL after our service fees versus 0.1937316 SOL at SolCleaner's advertised 5%, about 0.0061 SOL more. At the October 7, 2026 reserve of 0.00148844 SOL, the gap is about 0.0034 SOL. Network costs, partner fees and reward crates are excluded.

What happens to tokens in SolCleaner's Smart Safe Burn?

SolCleaner's burn page, checked October 7, 2026, says Smart Safe Burn, its default mode, swaps tokens with enough liquidity for SOL and moves the rest to a custody wallet for up to 7 days before permanently burning them. A separate Permanent Burn mode burns immediately. A Sol Incinerator burn destroys the assets you select when you approve.

Does Sol Incinerator hold my tokens before burning them?

No. A Sol Incinerator Pro Mode burn destroys the assets you select in the transaction you approve, and their account deposits come back to your wallet minus fees. Nothing waits in a holding wallet first. Burning is permanent, so swap anything that still has a working market before you burn it.
